Local groups receive nearly $500K in grants

SOUTHINGTON — The Bradley Henry Barnes & Leila Upson Barnes Memorial Trust at the Main Street Foundation has awarded almost $480,000 to local organizations.

“A total of $479,018 was just awarded to organizations working to improve the lives of Southington residents,” said Samantha Rajotte, scholarship & program officer at the Main Street Community Foundation.
